105th Manson Apple Blossom Festival to celebrate Legends of the Lake
The 105th Manson Apple Blossom Festival will occur on May 10-11, celebrating community and tradition in the Lake Chelan Valley. This year's theme, "Legends of the Lake," features a grand parade, art exhibits, and sports tournaments, drawing attention to local culture. Genesis Torres, a senior at Manson High School, was crowned Queen, alongside Princesses Brynn Williams and Isabella Alexander, who will lead the festivities. The newly introduced Petal Plunge at Manson Bay Park honors Grand Marshal Viki Downey, a leader in water safety who received the Red Cross Hero Award for Community Impact in 2025. The festival schedule includes a pancake breakfast, fun run, and a street fair, with activities designed to engage families and visitors alike.
The Manson Apple Blossom Festival has been a community staple since 1921, fostering traditions that connect generations. The event continues to evolve, with the addition of new activities reflecting the community's spirit and heritage. More information about the festival can be found at mansonappleblossom. com.
