led the emergency repair project, removing overhanging rocks and installing nearly 1,000 feet of rock anchors at 46 locations. Washington State Department of Transportation crews contributed by clearing 1,400 cubic yards of debris. Travelers should check real-time travel conditions and report any debris or hazards by calling 911. The reopening of Route 971 is crucial for local access to Lake Chelan State Park, enhancing tourism and community connectivity.
