East Wenatchee Police Apprehend Juvenile Gang Members with Gun

On November 25, 2025, East Wenatchee police arrested two juveniles in connection with a disturbance involving reported gang members. Responding to a call about potential gun violence at the 200 block of N. Georgia Ave, officers quickly located two of the six juveniles involved. One juvenile was detained without incident, while the other fled, discarding a pistol with an extended magazine during the pursuit. The 16-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, obstruction, and criminal mischief, while the 15-year-old faces a charge of criminal mischief.

Both were booked into Chelan County Juvenile Detention. The incident underscores the challenges law enforcement faces regarding juvenile delinquency and gang influence in the community. Police continue to seek the other four juveniles involved in the altercation. Local officials are expected to discuss measures to address rising youth crime rates in upcoming community meetings.
