Chelans All Student Parade ends in pep rally and Spirit of Chelan honors
The All-Student Parade in Chelan concluded with a vibrant pep rally at Riverwalk Pavilion, where Principal Jamie Pancho honored this year's "Spirit of Chelan" recipients. Morgan Owings Elementary celebrated students like Evelyn Snyder for her inclusive nature and Miguel Saucedo for his motivation and sportsmanship. Chelan Middle School recognized Charlie Rogers, a dedicated volleyball manager, and Kai Froman, a role model balancing sports and academics. At Chelan High School, honorees included Krista Carlton, known for her dedication in sports and academics, and Luca Faletto, who fosters inclusivity among younger students. Staff members Liz Martinez and Dia Galvan were also acknowledged for their significant contributions to student life and support for migrant students.
The event highlighted community involvement, with thanks directed at first responders and volunteers who ensure student safety during the parade. This celebration reinforces values of motivation, respect, and engagement in the Chelan school community.
