DNA testing confirmed the identity of human remains found near Grindstone Mountain as fugitive Travis Decker, who was wanted for the deaths of his three young daughters. Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison stated that this discovery marks the end of a dark chapter for the community, providing much-needed closure. He extended apologies to the children’s mother, Whitney, expressing hope that she could find peace now that Decker is accounted for.
