Team Okanogan Animal Rescue Hosts BIG FIX 4.0 September 25-28
The upcoming BIG FIX 4. 0 clinic, hosted by Team Okanogan Animal Rescue (TOAR) and Greater Good Charities, is scheduled for September 25-28, 2025, at the Okanogan County Fairgrounds. This four-day event will provide free spay/neuter services, vaccinations, microchips, and pet supplies to over 300 families in need. Since launching in 2024, the initiative has helped more than 3,200 animals, and this clinic will bring the total to over 4,000 surgeries, a significant achievement in combating pet overpopulation. Okanogan County faces a pressing need for these services, as there is no county animal shelter and limited low-cost veterinary care.
Jill Servais, President of TOAR, highlighted the partnership's critical role in improving pet health and supporting families. The clinic will be led by licensed veterinarians, with volunteers from the community assisting in various capacities. Generous support from local organizations ensures the clinic's success and sustainability. For more information, visit TOAR's website.
