Manson community to review vision plan at final forums
The Manson One Voice Coalition will host two forums on September 11 and 12 at the Manson Grange Hall to present a long-term vision for the community. This initiative concludes a nine-month process involving six community gatherings led by professional consultant Dan Ernissee. The coalition, supported by a grant from the Chelan Douglas Port Authority and overseen by the Manson Chamber of Commerce, aims to address priorities such as economic development, infrastructure, and preserving the town's character. “This visioning process has been a vital part of defining who we are and where we’re headed,” the coalition noted. These forums will provide an opportunity for residents to reflect on the proposed plan and suggest next steps.
The coalition invites the community to engage actively, emphasizing that local voices matter in shaping Manson’s future. The evening session will run from 6 to 8 p. m. on September 11, while the morning session will take place from 8 to 10 a. m.
on September 12. This initiative is a significant step in defining the community’s direction over the next 5, 10, and 20 years.
