On September 6, 2025, Team Okanogan Animal Rescue (TOAR) and Okandogs will host Rescue Rocks at the Leavenworth Festhalle to benefit animal welfare in Eastern Washington. The event will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p. m. , featuring music from the high-energy cover band Hit Machine, catered food, and a live auction with exclusive items. Highlights of the auction include autographed jerseys from Cal Raleigh and Ichiro Suzuki, a private yacht cruise, and a meet-and-greet with the band TRAIN.

Additionally, a silent auction will allow remote participation. Proceeds will support essential programs like the BIG FIX 4. 0 veterinary clinic, which aims to provide services for over 1,000 animals. Jill Servais, president of TOAR, emphasizes the need for accessible vet care in rural areas. The event is made possible by local sponsors, including Cascade Veterinary Clinics and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

TOAR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has served over 2,100 animals and distributed 120,000 pounds of pet food in 2024 alone.
