As of Thursday morning, travelers on Highway 97 must navigate alternating single lanes with pilot car guidance due to the fire response. Fire suppression aircraft have been activated, indicating the urgency of the situation as authorities respond to a third alarm callout. In a separate incident, a tractor-trailer jackknifed on Highway 97, but this accident is deemed unrelated to the fire activity.

The driver managed to exit the vehicle without injuries, highlighting a fortunate outcome amid the chaos. Local residents remain vigilant as the fire continues to pose a threat to the area.
