Hamilton County To Be Featured On COPS Television Show For Season 38

Sheriff Austin Garrett announced that the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will be featured in several episodes of the COPS television series during summer 2025. This marks the third time the agency has appeared on the iconic show since its debut in 1989, which has become a staple in showcasing law enforcement activities across the U. S. COPS personnel will ride with patrol deputies for approximately eight weeks, capturing stories and incident footage for the series. Potential episodes are expected to air in fall 2026, allowing the agency to highlight its members' dedication and service.

Garrett noted that many current law enforcement professionals were inspired to pursue their careers after watching COPS as children. The series has built a strong reputation for fostering collaborative relationships with law enforcement agencies nationwide and globally.
