Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host a free torchlight tour of the Civil War section of Chattanooga National Cemetery on Memorial Day, May 26, starting at 8:45 p. m. The tour will begin at the old cemetery entrance arch and cover about a mile. This event serves to honor the sacrifices made during the Civil War and encourages community engagement in remembrance. Local residents are invited to participate, enhancing their understanding of the area's historical significance.
