Chattanooga Fire Department executed a rescue operation at Greenway Farms after a person fell over 30 feet from a rock quarry on Tuesday night. Responders arrived at 8:15 p. m. and navigated the woods to locate and stabilize the patient. They set up a pulley system to safely transport the injured individual, who was successfully lifted out by 10:35 p.

m. and handed over to Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services. Fire officials have expressed concern over the frequency of rescues at this location, urging visitors to practice caution as summer approaches. The department has conducted several rescues in recent years, which require significant manpower and resources, often resulting in serious injuries.
