PORT OF SKAGIT WELCOMES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Audra Ramerman has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Port of Skagit, effective immediately. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous position as Director of Finance and Administration at the Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County, where she served for eight years. In her new role, she will manage long-range financial planning for the Port’s properties, including La Conner Marina and Skagit Regional Airport. Ramerman expressed her enthusiasm for continuing to serve the Skagit community, stating, “I’m thrilled to continue to work on behalf of the Skagit community. ” Her extensive local connections and familiarity with the area will aid her in optimizing the Port’s assets.

Ramerman has lived in the Skagit Valley for three decades, contributing to local quality of life initiatives. As a key member of the Port’s leadership team, she will focus on financial, risk management, and audit oversight. Her appointment is expected to foster greater community engagement through strategic financial planning.
