Take a culinary world tour at Taste of White Center on Saturday, June 25

The ‘Taste of White Center’ fundraiser is set for June 25, 2022, from 11 a. m. to 4 p. m. on 16th Ave SW, featuring over 25 local restaurants.

Attendees can purchase $5 tickets to sample a variety of dishes, with proceeds directly benefiting the White Center Food Bank. Iconic establishments such as Tomo and La Fondita will serve dishes, highlighting the area's culinary diversity. Each ticket includes a restaurant passport that provides a map and details on participating restaurants and their offerings. Sponsorship from Alaska Airlines and others helps cover costs for ingredients and promotions. A raffle for two roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines will also take place during the event.

White Center Food Bank emphasizes the importance of food in fostering community connections. This family-friendly event aims to bring together residents and visitors alike to enjoy global flavors from the multicultural community.
