Big Picture High Graduate featured in October HighlineAlum campaign

Highline Public Schools highlights Stephen Duong, a 2012 graduate, in its #HighlineAlum campaign, aiming to inspire current students. Duong studies life sciences at The Evergreen State College and seeks a career in lab or pharmaceutical research. He appreciates the district's inclusive educational approach, saying, "I’m really grateful for all the opportunities and support that I received during my time here. " Each month, the campaign features one established alumnus and one emerging talent to motivate students to pursue their dreams. Earlier, the campaign spotlighted Alaska Airlines CEO Brad Tilden, a graduate of Highline High School.

The initiative encourages community engagement through social media, inviting followers to use the hashtag #HighlineAlum. Highline Public Schools boasts a legacy of successful alumni, demonstrating the impact of its educational programs. The campaign emphasizes the importance of academic success and the diverse opportunities available to students.
