REPORT Burien man most likely jumped, attacked near SW 136th Ambaum

Jaron Bidwell, a longshoreman and father, was brutally attacked near the AM/PM Mini Market on Ambaum Blvd. SW on February 23, just before 10 p. m. Witnesses report that he was jumped while walking to the store, resulting in severe injuries that required immediate surgery at Harborview Medical Center. Relatives informed that both sides of his jaw are broken, and he has been in and out of consciousness since the incident.

The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case and urges anyone with information to contact them. This attack has raised alarms about safety in Burien, prompting discussions about community protection measures. Bidwell's condition underscores the potential risks faced by residents in the area. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of neighborhood safety and the role of community awareness.
