VIDEO Time lapse shows construction progress of new Merrill Gardens project

Burien, WALocal News

The City of Burien released a time-lapse video illustrating the six-month construction progress of the new Merrill Gardens project. Despite battling the wettest winter in recent memory, workers maintained steady progress since construction began in June 2015. The new building is strategically placed north of City Hall, occupying the eastern lot of Phase II of Burien Town Square. Burien officials encouraged residents to watch the video, noting substantial changes visible around the 0:53 mark. The project is part of a broader initiative to improve the urban environment and provide additional housing options in the area.

Local leaders anticipate that the completed development will enhance community engagement and economic growth. The video serves as a testament to the dedication of the construction team amidst adverse weather conditions. Future updates will be shared as the project continues to evolve.
