Highline Public Schools student art will be at Burien Art Walk this Friday

Highline Public Schools students will showcase their artwork during the Student Art Walk on May 5, from 6 to 9 p. m. in downtown Burien. The event highlights Arts Education Month and features participation from over 20 local businesses along SW 152nd Street. Art displays will include both visual and performance pieces, fostering local community engagement.

Free live music and performances will also take place throughout the evening. This event runs on the first Friday of each month from May to September, drawing attention to student creativity and talent. Discover Burien and other local businesses will host the event, emphasizing support for arts education. Community members can find a map and schedule on the B-Town Beat website. Engaging students in art showcases promotes cultural appreciation and strengthens community ties.
