Burglary ring investigation leads Seattle Major Crimes Detectives to Burien home

Burien, WALocal News

On March 5, Seattle Police discovered a cache of suspected stolen items in a Burien home while pursuing a burglary ring. The Major Crimes Task Force has been investigating a group that has targeted residences in North Seattle, Queen Anne, and Magnolia. SWAT officers executed a search warrant at the Burien address, arresting two individuals for existing warrants. Major Crimes Task Force Captain Eric Sano stated they found "a ton of stolen stuff" during the operation. Authorities are currently examining the evidence, believing that some items were taken from unreported break-ins.

This operation underscores the department's commitment to addressing property crime in the region. The police are working to identify the owners of the recovered items. Such investigations are crucial for maintaining public safety and deterring future burglaries.
