Four candidates have filed for the four Burien city council positions open for election this November, as of 1 PM on June 5th. Local residents and registered voters still have the chance to enter the race by submitting their applications online or in person by the 4 PM deadline today. Interested candidates can file in person at the King County Elections Building located at 919 SW Grady Way in Renton, WA. Each candidate must pay a non-refundable filing fee and meet specific requirements, including being a Burien resident for at least one year on Election Day. This election is crucial for the community as it allows residents to influence local governance and decision-making.
