REMINDER Highline Community Symphonic Band to perform free pet-themed ROAR concert this Sunday, May 18

The Highline Community Symphonic Band will present its spring concert, “ROAR! Purrfect Harmony: A Concert for Pet Lovers! ” on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 2 p. m. The concert will be held at the Highline High School Theater, located at 225 S.

152nd Street in Burien. Directed by Corinne Smith, the performance is dedicated to animals, pet lovers, and particularly rescue pets. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Burien C. A. R.

E. S. Animal Shelter. This concert highlights the band’s mission to support animal welfare and engage the community in pet advocacy. The band operates as a charitable organization, receiving partial funding from the City of Burien and King County 4Culture.
