Hate speech crime suspects at large after overnight vandalism spree in Boulevard Park

Burien Police are investigating a series of hate speech crimes that took place overnight on May 11, 2025, in Boulevard Park. Residents awoke to find their homes and vehicles vandalized with black spray-painted hate messages, including swastikas and racial slurs. The targeted properties belonged to at least two lesbian households and one Kenyan household, raising alarm about the motivations behind the attacks. The police estimate the crimes occurred between 10 p. m.

and 8 a. m. , and they are seeking witnesses to aid in their investigation. A pro-women's rights bumper sticker was also removed and discarded, indicating a broader pattern of hostility. The B-Town Blog confirmed the incidents and noted that the same criminals likely perpetrated all three attacks.
