The Highline High School Boys basketball team is currently undefeated in conference play, boasting a record of 5-0. They faced a challenging game against Mt. Rainer on December 22, 2016, ultimately losing 40-51. Although the Pirates never took the lead, they managed to keep the game competitive, coming close several times. With this loss, their overall record stands at 6-4, with prior defeats against Lynnwood, Evergreen, and Tahoma.

The upcoming home game on January 4, 2017, at 7 PM presents an opportunity for fans to rally behind the team. Community support plays a critical role in motivating the players as they aim to improve their standing. The team’s performance this season reflects their growth and resilience.
