Kennedy Catholic's Sam Huard named to MaxPreps 'Freshman All-American' team

MaxPreps recognized Sam Huard from Kennedy Catholic High School as a member of its Freshman All-American team. The 6’1″ quarterback had an outstanding season, throwing for 3,432 yards and 34 touchdowns while completing 229 of 297 passes, leading all quarterbacks in the South Sound. His impressive high school debut featured 359 passing yards. Huard comes from a football family; he is the son of Damon Huard, a former UW Husky quarterback, and the nephew of Brock Huard, another local QB icon. In addition to football, Huard has showcased his basketball skills, indicating his athletic versatility.
