1UP Recreation announces its summer day camps and American Red Cross certification courses, aiming to foster community and inclusivity. Founded by Kerrie Sampelayo, who has over 11 years of camp experience, the organization focuses on engaging children in various recreational activities. The summer day camps will run from June 20-24, providing children with opportunities to participate in sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor cooking. Archery lessons will also be available, starting in Fall 2022, catering to students in the 4th grade and above. As a licensed American Red Cross provider, 1UP offers certification courses in First Aid, CPR/AED, and babysitting training, with options for community classes and group sessions.

The camp programs are designed to be affordable, with a tiered pricing structure of $0, $75, or $150. Parents can reach out to Sampelayo for further details or visit the organization's website for more information. This initiative not only provides fun summer activities but also equips youth with valuable life skills.
