The Highline High School Booster Club has postponed its 100th Anniversary celebration, initially scheduled for May 3, citing low ticket sales as the primary reason. This decision was made at a board meeting on April 22, 2025. Organizers plan to reschedule the event for the fall, closer to the school's Homecoming, which they believe will attract more attendees from the alumni community. The board expressed both regret and gratitude for the understanding shown by supporters in making this difficult decision. Those who purchased tickets will be contacted regarding refunds or the option to hold their tickets for the rescheduled event.

The Booster Club aims to foster community support for student athletes and extracurricular programs at Highline High School. This event is significant as it marks the school's centennial celebration, highlighting the importance of community involvement. Further updates will be provided when the new date is announced.
