Volunteers needed for Highline High 'Campus Clean-up Day' on Friday, May 20
Highline High School will host a 'Pirate Pride Spring Clean-Up Event' on May 20, 2016, from noon to 6:00 p. m. , inviting local residents to assist students in enhancing their school. Projects include painting, pressure washing, and landscaping, as identified by the students. ASB President Hansol Kim stated that this event is a chance for the community to acknowledge the school's strengths and challenges.
Principal Vicki Fisher emphasized the importance of community support in making Highline High more inviting while future construction plans are pending. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves and hand tools, and participation is welcome at any time throughout the event. A community celebration with a BBQ and music will occur from 4:00 to 6:00 p. m. The event reflects the school's commitment to fostering a positive environment for students.
