'Meet the Candidates' at Southwest King County Chamber reception Sept. 23

The Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Meet the Candidates" Reception on September 23, 2015, at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Seattle Airport Southcenter. This event is designed to facilitate introductions between candidates from Burien, Des Moines, SeaTac, Tukwila, and the Port of Seattle and the Chamber’s members. Brad Goode, a news anchor from KOMO 4 News, will serve as the emcee, guiding the evening as candidates take turns speaking for three minutes each. Attendees will have the chance to collect campaign materials and engage directly with the candidates. Open to Chamber members and their guests, the reception will feature appetizers, wine, and beer, fostering a relaxed networking environment.

Registration is required, with a cost of $20 due by September 16. Additionally, presenting sponsors like Boeing and MasterPark highlight the importance of community involvement in local elections.
