Auditions now open for two summer shows at Hi-Liners Musical Theatre

The Hi-Liners Musical Theatre, a beloved nonprofit organization in Burien since 1966, is excited to announce auditions for two major Disney productions this summer: "Disney’s Descendants: The Musical" and "Disney’s Moana JR. " Young performers aged 11-22 are invited to submit video auditions for "Descendants" by May 2, while auditions for "Moana JR. " are open to ages 7-16 and will be held in person on May 9. "Descendants: The Musical" promises to be a vibrant adaptation of the Disney Channel movies, featuring a full-length production with intricate sets and costumes. In contrast, "Moana JR.

" offers a heartwarming tale of adventure and self-discovery, following Moana as she sails across the Pacific. Performances for both shows will occur at the Highline Performing Arts Center, with "Descendants" slated for July 23-24 and 28-31, and "Moana JR. " scheduled for August 26-28. Callbacks and dance auditions for "Descendants" will take place on May 7, with options for video callbacks for college students.
