Bloodworks Northwest will operate a Pop-Up Donor Center at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Burien from August 21 to 25. This center provides a convenient and safe location for blood donations, emphasizing the importance of community health during the ongoing need for blood supplies. All donations require an appointment, and strict safety protocols, including mask-wearing, will be enforced to ensure donor safety. First-time donors aged 16-17 must acquire a permission slip to participate. Each donation appointment will last approximately one hour and aims to support local hospitals directly.

Donors will also have the chance to win an Apple iPad Pro with accessories through a raffle. Bloodworks Northwest has implemented these measures to adapt to ongoing health guidelines while encouraging community participation. The initiative reflects a proactive approach to maintaining blood supply amid health challenges.
