(2015) The 94th annual Independence Day Parade will march through Burien July 4!

Burien's 4th of July parade will mark its 94th year with a new route commencing at SW 152nd Street and 8th Ave SW. Set to start at 3 p. m. and run for about two hours, the event will feature marching bands, floats, and appearances from the Seafair pirates, drawing thousands of spectators. Rairdon’s Honda of Burien sponsors the parade, along with Boulevard Park Place and Recology CleanScapes.

Executive Director Andrea Reay expressed appreciation for the community support, emphasizing the collaborative efforts to enhance Burien. Local restaurants and businesses are preparing to offer specials to celebrate the day, further engaging the community. Spectators are advised to arrive early to secure prime viewing locations along the parade route. The Discover Burien Association, a non-profit organization, plays a significant role in promoting local economic development and community engagement.
