Fundraiser for Burien man suffering from Lymphoma will be Friday, Oct. 24
A fundraiser will be held on Friday, October 24, at 9 p. m. to assist Burien resident Aaron Rivera, who has been battling Lymphoma for two years. The event will include a raffle and other activities, with a suggested donation of $10 to help support Rivera and his family. His sister Selina expressed the emotional struggle of having a family member with cancer, stating, “How Can I Help?
” as her driving force behind starting a GoFundMe page for Aaron, his wife Kim, and their children. Rivera, a lifelong Burien resident and Highline High School alum, is currently in the cardiac ICU, underscoring the critical need for community assistance. Local support is vital as families facing health crises often rely on their communities during difficult times. The fundraiser aims not only to raise funds but also to foster community spirit and solidarity. Donations can also be made through the GoFundMe page linked in the article.
