The community gathered at One Source Chiropractic, where she worked as a receptionist, to honor her memory with a growing memorial of flowers, candles, and heartfelt notes. Two suspects were arrested shortly after the incident, contributing to the community's hope for justice. A GoFundMe page has been established to support her family, reflecting the community's desire to assist those affected by this tragedy. Burien Mayor Jimmy Matta attended the vigil, underscoring the profound loss felt throughout the area.

Gaby's funeral was held on September 21 at Holy Family Church in White Center, further uniting the community in mourning. The situation has raised concerns about gun violence in the area, prompting discussions on safety measures. Local residents are now advocating for increased awareness and preventive actions to avoid similar incidents in the future.
