Volunteers needed for 'International Coastal Cleanup' at Seahurst Sept. 12

Volunteers are invited to join the Environmental Science Center for the 2015 International Coastal Cleanup at Seahurst Beach in Burien on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a. m. to Noon. This free event focuses on community action against ocean pollution and encourages participants to help clean the beach.

Attendees will meet at 2220 SW Seahurst Park Road, where they will work together to "turn the tide on ocean trash. " This initiative is part of a larger global effort to address marine debris and its impacts on ocean ecosystems. The Environmental Science Center emphasizes the importance of local engagement in preserving environmental health.
