In a recent meeting, the Bothell City Council convened to finalize a list of candidates for the Parks Board and Planning Commission, underscoring the importance of community representation. The council identified four candidates for the Parks Board, including Billie Jean Scott, Fawn Bowles, Hannah Willard, and Sandra Lee, and selected Carrie Westerbeck, Ryan Ellis, and Alexander Foss for the Planning Commission. After further discussion, three additional candidates were added: James Manichelli for the Planning Commission, and Cameron Chapman and Dennis Tankovsky for the Parks Board. Councilmember Zornes highlighted the difficulty of narrowing down the list, expressing a preference to interview all applicants to fully understand their qualifications.
