In a concerning incident that has shaken the Everett community, police have arrested Andrew Freeman, a 21-year-old man, for allegedly stabbing a 13-year-old boy as he walked to school on January 16. The arrest was made possible by a tip from a vigilant community member, demonstrating the critical role of public involvement in ensuring local safety. The teen, who suffered stab wounds, was promptly taken to the hospital after reaching North Middle School. Notably, Freeman had been arrested earlier on drug charges but was released before investigators identified him as a suspect in the stabbing.
