Former Wayne Golf Course Event

Bothell, WALocal News

The Former Wayne Golf Course, now a public open space in Bothell, spans 89 acres and offers a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. The area encourages passive activities such as walking, running, and picnicking, while also accommodating drop-in sports like soccer and flag football. Organized events are prohibited to maintain the serenity of the space. Open from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset, the park allows ample time for exploration and enjoyment of nature. Visitors are urged to follow regulations, including keeping dogs on-leash and staying on designated paths in the sensitive Salmon Habitat area.

Additionally, the clubhouse and certain storage spaces are currently closed to ensure visitor safety. This transformation of the golf course into a regional park not only promotes community engagement but also emphasizes environmental conservation, making it a valuable recreational asset for the Bothell community.
