Kane was indicted on multiple drug charges and pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute, receiving a five-year prison sentence. He claimed extortion by an outlaw motorcycle gang but did not disclose their identities. In a letter to the judge, he took responsibility for his actions, linking them to personal tragedies and addiction struggles. This case underscores the methamphetamine crisis in Snohomish County, which reported 354 overdose deaths last year, with meth implicated in 131 of those cases.
