California woman dies after motorcycle crash west of Lake Stevens

On Friday, August 5, 2022, a motorcycle accident near Lake Stevens resulted in the death of 53-year-old Kimberly Moore from Rancho Cucamonga, California. The accident occurred around 10 a. m. on Highway 204 when the motorcycle she was a passenger on laid down, causing both her and the driver to be ejected. They then collided with another motorcycle that was stopped at the intersection, driven by a 29-year-old man from Arlington, who, along with his passenger, thankfully escaped unharmed.

Moore and the driver were rushed to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett for treatment. Tragically, despite medical efforts, Moore succumbed to her injuries the following night. This incident highlights the risks associated with motorcycle riding and the potential for serious injuries or fatalities in accidents. Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, emphasizing the importance of motorcycle safety. The community has expressed condolences for Moore's family, reflecting the impact of her loss.
