Their relationship, characterized by McNeal's financial support of around $10,000 monthly, raised alarms about emotional and mental abuse, as reflected in Guyvoronsky’s diary entries and text messages. Following a breakup amid a financial dispute, tensions escalated, resulting in her tragic death just days later. On May 2, 2024, police discovered Guyvoronsky's body in her Seattle home, where she appeared to have been deceased for some time. Her parents expressed concerns about McNeal's controlling behavior, highlighting the dangerous dynamics of their relationship.

McNeal was arrested at the scene and has since remained silent, leaving many questions unanswered. This case has sparked discussions on domestic violence and the risks associated with financial control in relationships.
