1 dead after fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 527

A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of Ronald Lozada, a 41-year-old motorcyclist from Mill Creek, on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred around 7 p. m. on Highway 527 when a 24-year-old woman driving a red Nissan Versa attempted to make a left turn onto the highway. Lozada was riding a Yamaha YZF-R1 southbound when he collided with the driver's side of the vehicle.

He was ejected from his motorcycle and rushed to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he was pronounced dead. Emergency responders confirmed that the driver of the Nissan was not impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash. Investigators are currently working to determine the exact cause of the incident. This tragic accident underscores the importance of motorcycle safety and vigilant driving practices, reminding all motorists to be aware of their surroundings, especially at busy intersections.
