Tury Research Institute will serve as the lead research partner, while Roxbury USA will oversee community engagement efforts. The study will analyze how city services impact the social and economic conditions of Black males, employing a community-first approach. District 4 City Councilor Brian Worrell noted the necessity of community input in developing solutions.

Tury Research Institute brings over 20 years of experience in equity-focused research. The initiative aims to create a comprehensive database on various indicators affecting Black males, including income and education. Commissioner Tito Jackson called this moment a historic step towards equity in Boston.
