18 Million Expansion of Trinity Lutheran School Underway in Bend
Trinity Lutheran School in Bend is embarking on an ambitious $18 million expansion project, which marks the first phase of a larger master plan aimed at enhancing educational facilities. This initial phase will feature an upgraded performing arts center along with additional worship and classroom spaces, significantly enhancing the school's infrastructure. Kyla Vevia, director of marketing and communications for the school, emphasized that future phases will include the construction of classrooms, offices, a kitchen, and expanded athletic facilities, including a track and field, indoor practice spaces, and courts for tennis and pickleball. The school, which currently accommodates around 550 students from pre-K through high school, aims to better serve its educational community through this development. The project is being managed by general contractor SunWest Builders, with architectural design handled by SĀJ Architecture.
This expansion is not only a response to the growing needs of the school but also a reflection of the community's investment in quality education. The initiative showcases a proactive approach to improving local educational resources. As the project progresses, it will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Trinity Lutheran School and its students.
