City of Bend Hosting Pre-design Open House for Neff Bicycle Pedestrian Improvements Project

The City of Bend is inviting community members to a pre-design open house on October 21, 2024, for the Neff Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Project. Scheduled from 4 to 6 p. m. at the Deschutes Children’s Foundation, East Bend Campus, the event aims to foster dialogue between residents and the project team about safety concerns and project specifics. The city seeks to create safer connections that link neighborhoods, schools, parks, and businesses through improved bike and pedestrian routes. An online option for input will be available from October 21 to November 4, allowing broader participation. Funded by the voter-approved 2020 Transportation GO Bond, the project underscores the city's commitment to addressing local safety issues.
