The City of Bend is hosting an informational online open house from December 16, 2024, to January 2, 2025, to unveil the final design for the Bend Bikeway Project, which is essential for improving transportation safety and accessibility for cyclists and pedestrians. This open house is the final chance for community feedback before the designs are finalized and construction begins in 2025. The 'Key Route' concept focuses on minimizing stress for users, ensuring safe connections to schools, parks, and other destinations.
