Nine local farms, such as Ferndale Farmstead, will open their gates for tours, wagon rides, and hands-on learning experiences. Free tastings of cheese, milk, and ice cream produced locally will be available, highlighting the quality of Whatcom County's dairy products. Ivan Chu, Senior Director at Washington Dairy, noted the importance of dairy farming to the local community and the opportunity for residents to meet the families behind the farms. The event, organized by Washington Dairy, aims to strengthen connections between consumers and producers.
