A vehicle crashed into a downtown Ferndale business on June 12, resulting in no injuries reported among the occupants or bystanders. Whatcom County Fire District 7 Fire Chief Ben Boyko stated that responders were dispatched to the scene around 10:30 a. m. The car completely entered the building, crashing through the outer wall, moving through a room, and crossing a hallway before coming to a stop. Firefighters extricated the two occupants from the vehicle, who were the only individuals inside.

Multiple people were present in the building during the incident but emerged unharmed. Ferndale Police have not provided information regarding the crash's cause or any arrests. This incident underscores the potential dangers of vehicle collisions in populated areas. Local authorities may need to review traffic safety measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
