Birch Equipment dominated the Ski to Sea race, finishing first for the fourth consecutive year with a time of 5 hours, 44 minutes. The team consistently led throughout the race, particularly excelling in the initial legs. In collegiate sports, Western Washington University's softball team concluded their impressive season after a 2-0 defeat against UT Tyler in the College World Series semifinals, where they finished with a record of 47-13. The Mariners are attempting to bounce back from a disappointing series against the Astros, where they lost three out of four games, yet they remain in first place in the AL West. Logan Evans will take the mound as they face the Nationals, who are on a hot streak with six wins in eight games.

The Storm also celebrated a victory, beating the Las Vegas Aces 102-82, with Nneka Ogumike scoring 23 points. Sehome's boys soccer team advanced to the state semifinals with a 2-0 win over Cedarcrest, while Lynden Christian's baseball team was eliminated in the first round of the 1A tournament. In tennis, Lynden twins Halley and Avery Brooks captured the state title in girls’ doubles without losing a set.
