Mount Baker Imaging, Northwest Radiologists named in suit following cyber attack

A class action lawsuit has been initiated against Mount Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists after a cyberattack in late January impacted patient data. The plaintiffs, two Whatcom County men, contend that the medical centers inadequately informed patients about the breach and its implications for their personal information. According to court documents, many affected patients have yet to receive any notification regarding whether their sensitive data was compromised. The lawsuit claims that the facilities minimized the attack's impact and did not take sufficient steps to mitigate potential harm to patients. Both Mount Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists maintain on their website that no compromised information has been used maliciously.
