Veterans Day events in Whatcom County happening this week

Bellingham's American Legion Post 7 will host a Veterans Day ceremony on November 11, beginning at 10:30 a. m. with musical performances by the Bellingham Community Band, Rolstad, and the Bellingham Pipers. The ceremony will feature a Color presentation, a 21 Gun Salute, and a community lunch for attendees. Veterans and active military personnel can enjoy free meals at Texas Roadhouse from 11 a.

m. to 2 p. m. Additionally, state ferries will honor the occasion by sounding their horns at 11:11 a. m.
